In 2008, Footsteps gave a grant of almost £2500 to Rae Mixed Primary School. This money allowed the school to apply for a £25,000 grant from the EU funded, Community Development Trust Fund. With this money 3 new classrooms were built and 6 others were completed.
In 2009, Footsteps put in an extra £18000 to fund an administration facility and a nursery classroom.
