After building the new Children's ward and laboratory for the Katito Health Centre we were disturbed to discover that the facility relied on rain water catchment and an old water connection that hadn't worked for over a year.
We were approached by the Management of the centre to see if we could add a water connection to our project.
Given that the facility was really unusable without water, and providing clean water to schools is one of our priorities, this project fits in very nicely with what Footsteps does.
With money donated by Kings College School in Wimbledon, we were able to rapidly respond to the request from the Katito Health Centre and you can see the results in the photo album.
